Ralph Valdes

Thanks for visiting my site, ralphbuilds.com! I build user-friendly web experience solutions to complex challenges.

I started out building websites 8 years ago with HTML. Then came ColdFusion and MSSQL. Then came Javascript. Then came Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP. Nowadays, I split my time between business analysis / requirement gathering and developing sites in a LAMP (that’s Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP/PERL) environment. I’ve done everything from build small microsites selling a couple products online to developing full web management applications that run complex business models.

I’m not a graphic designer, although I have worked with some amazing designers, firms and ad agencies in the past. I let them stick to what they do best – make your site beautiful – while I stick to what I do best – make your site more than just eye-candy. If you’re a designer or agency, I’d love to work with you. If you need graphic design along with your development, I’ll partner with a designer who is a perfect fit for your budget and expectations. If you know you need a site and you’re not sure what you need, feel free to contact me and I’ll help you sort it out.

When I’m not developing or learning new technologies, I spend my time in the Florida Keys diving, fishing and enjoying the “Keys life”.
